A 90% reduction in outages? It's possible when power lines are buried underground. And that's what we're working toward with up to 400 miles by 2027. That’s just one of the ways we’re delivering on our long-term goal of no customer without power for more than 24 hours and no outage affecting more than 100,000 customers.

And after the tornadoes hit Branch, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties, we counted on our people to restore power quickly and safely. In fact, there were: 👉171 line crews 👉61 forestry crews 👉111 damage assessors and public safety wire guards 👉200 people behind the scenes supporting them all What are we most proud of? Today marks a new era for farmers and renewable energy in Michigan. With the groundbreaking of two projects at Spring Creek AgriEnergy Center in Calhoun County, a multi-generational farm will stay in the family while generating enough energy to power 25,000 homes.
