The Masked Singer is back for season 12, with a new group of celebs hiding under elaborate disguises.
The season kicked off Sept. 25 with a fresh batch of costumed contestants taking the stage in front of longtime panelists Ken Jeong,Robin Thicke, andJenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, joined again by Rita Ora in place of Nicole Scherzinger, plus host Nick Cannon.
Season 12 theme nights includeMiley CyrusNight, Barbie Night,FootlooseNight (with an appearance by starKevin Bacon), Sports Night, '60s Night, Thanksgiving Night, Soundtrack of My Life Night, and a Who Are You Fest, featuring music from memorable festival lineups.
The most shocking Masked Singer reveals ever
One thing new is costumes this season will feature clues sewn directly onto them. "Some costumes are a larger clue to who the people are based on the character itself. And then others have more specific objects," showrunner Rosie Seitchik previously told Entertainment Weekly. "It's really based on the design, whether the design necessitates putting objects and props within them."
Last season saw Goldfish declared the winner and revealed to be High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens. Which stars are under the masks this season? Follow along below as we track every celebrity revealed on The Masked Singer season 12 so far — and check out our clues for every contestant to see if you can guess who else is in disguise.
Ice King is Drake Bell
Fittingly, episode 8's Miley Cyrus Night put a fellow former child star in the spotlight as Ice King was eliminated and revealed to be actor and Quiet on Set interviewee Drake Bell.
Macaron is Bethany Hamilton
Episode 7's Who Are You Fest introduced the final group of contestants. But Macaron's time on the show was short and sweet. She was eliminated first in Group C and was revealed to be pro surfer and shark attack survivorBethany Hamilton, who inspired the biopic,SoulSurfer.
Bluebell is Natalie Imbruglia
Episode 6 was '60s Night on The Masked Singer, but it was a '90s icon who found herself unmasked. The Group B finale saw Bluebell eliminated and revealed as Grammy-nominated "Torn" singerNatalie Imbruglia. After Bluebell's exit, Goo was saved by the Ding Dong Keep It On bell, which means he and Wasp move on to the quarterfinals.
Chess Piece is Laverne Cox
Chess Piece found herself in a checkmate on episode 5's Barbie Night. The singer was revealed to be Emmy-nominated Orange Is the New Black actress, producer, and LGBTQ activist Laverne Cox.
Dust Bunny is Andy Richter
The Masked Singer introduced a new group of contestants — Group B — on episode 5's Sports Night, but in the end Dust Bunny got swept up by the competition. The mask was revealed to be comedian and longtime Conan O'Brien sidekickAndy Richter,
Ship is Paula Cole
Nobody expected this Ship to go down, but the powerhouse vocalist was sadly the second elimination at the end of episode 3's Group A finals. Ship was revealed to be Grammy-winning singer Paula Cole. Although fans might be, the Dawson's Creek theme song vocalist isn't upset about not progressing further. "I don't need to win awards and things," Cole told EW. "I'm doing this for other reasons. I love music. It was a fun experience. It's all good fun. I was always kind of practicing my Buddhist non-attachment to it, just enjoying it, even though I enjoyed having an alter ego, and the Ship was a beautiful alter ego, a beautiful costume."
Woodpecker is Marsai Martin
Woodpecker couldn't drill through the stacked competition. The sleek singer was the first eliminated on episode 3 and revealed to beBlack-ishstarMarsai Martin. Although the actress had a great time on the singing show, don't expect her to change careers anytime soon. "I'm not going to turn into a singer," Martin told EW. "I'm not going to be like, all right, now here's my debut album. But who knows? Maybe, I don't know."
Showbird is Yvette Nicole Brown
Showbird flew too close to the sun. The brightly feathered contestant put on a great show, but was eliminated on episode 2 and revealed as Community starYvette Nicole Brown. The actress is aware it was "on the nose" to have Community star Joel McHaleserve as her Masked Ambassador while their sitcom costarKen Jeong is on the judging panel, but it wasn't her decision. "I'm like, Ken's the judge. Ken knows me. Ken knows Joel. We all know each other really well," Brown told EW. "So I thought it was on the nose, but I thought it was great, and I was honored that it was Joel that introduced me to the world."
Leaf Sheep is John Elway
The season's cutest contestant didn't make it very far. Leaf Sheep was eliminated in the season 12 premiere after singing "I Like It, I Love It," by Tim McGraw, and revealed to be legendary Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway.
Royal Knight
Royal Knight, from Group C, remains in the competition.
Sherlock Hound

Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Shortcake, from Group C, remains in the competition.
Wasp
Wasp, from Group B, remains in the competition.
Goo
Goo, from Group B, remains in the competition.
Buffalo
Buffalo, revealed in the season premiere to be three singers instead of the previously teased single crooner, is the only remaining contestant from Group A.
