Kurtis, double check ALL your fuses using an Automotive Fuse Tester because certain vehicles may have a wire tied into another circuit not labeled as car radio. You may have additional fuse boxes by the driver side of the dash, passenger side of the dash, driver kick panel, passenger kick panel, under the steering column or under the hood. If all of your fuses are good, your 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 factory amplifier may be faulty. We suggest you take your car to an experienced audio installer or mechanic and have them troubleshoot your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 stereo troubleshooting.

Hello, I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 with the stock am/fm/cassette 4 speaker system. it appears that I have no sound out of my rear speakers. I have swapped radios with another factory radio and still no sound. what have you found to be the common concern? Thank you.

I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 I bought a jvc stereo i can get the back speakers to work but not the front. any ideas?

I have a factory installed sterio system in my 1998 Dodge 1500 pickup. The two back speakers work the four front speakers don’t. I changed radio and checker connectors. No help. Is there an amplifier for the front speakers. If so, where is it located?
