The first patch of the winter update, Dreamer, has been released! It contains the new 6th job Common Core Sol Janus, the new Union Artifact system that replaces Monster Life, as well as a ton of improvements like character presets and free boss practice mode buffs! And of course, the whole set of winter update events like Hyper Burning and the Midnight Party.

Next week, the new 6th job Mastery Cores will be released onto the test server!

Union Artifact

Normal Missions and Boss Missions can only be completed after you have accepted the ‘[Maple Union] Mysterious Power’s Artifact’ quest and unlocked Union Artifact.

※ Please keep in mind that if you defeat bosses from 12:00 AM on December 21, 2023 to before the maintenance or after the maintenance without unlocking Union Artifact, you may not be able to complete the Boss Missions for that week.

※ When the official server is updated, Special Missions already completed by characters within the world can be completed instantly.

※ When World Leaping, Special Missions already completed by the moved characters can be completed instantly in the target world.

Ability Presets

The cost when changing Ability Presets has been removed.

Tera Blink

The event participation requirements have been expanded.

• This event is available to all level 10 or higher Hyper Burning characters or Hyper Burning Zero characters that have completed story quest chapter 2 created after December 21.

Burning World

You cannot Early World Leap from Burning World if you have the following items unused and in your inventory.

6th Job – Common Core

After the previous test world update, we reviewed the various opinions sent by players regarding the Common Core and decided that the following areas needed improvements.

1. Improving the values of the Common Core itself.
2. Improving the growth acceleration effect.
3. Reinforcing the effectiveness of enhancing the Core, even when the need for hunting assistance was relatively lower.

To do this, we have increased the additional experience acquired from 50% to 100% at level 30, and have adjusted the boost per level.

In addition, Sol Janus: Dawn and Sol Janus: Twilight’s damage has been slightly increased to improve combat effectiveness, and for Sol Janus: Dawn, considering the short activation cycles, we have adjusted the HP consumed when it activates. We will also make some other adjustments to the two skills’ activation methods and conditions, including error fixes.

Developer Notes

• Sol Janus: The experience acquisition boost has been increased from 50% to 100% at level 30.
• Sol Janus: Dawn: The damage has been increased from 630% to 690% at level 30.
• Sol Janus: Twilight: The damage has been increased from 945% to 1035% at level 30. The HP consumed when activated has been decreased from 5% max HP to 1% max HP.

A new Common Core that can be used by all jobs has been added.

• Sol Janus: Draw out the primal power of Sol Erda in two forms.
  After using this skill, you can input an arrow key to select Sol Janus: Dawn or Sol Janus: Twilight.
  In boss battle maps, you cannot use any form of Sol Janus. [Max Level: 30]
  • Level 1: Consumes 500 HP. Decide Sol Janus’ form.
    Cooldown: 3 seconds.
    [Passive Effect: 10% experience acquisition increase]
  • Level 30: Consumes 500 HP. Decide Sol Janus’ form.
    Cooldown: 3 seconds.
    [Passive Effect: 100% experience acquisition increase]

Note: The passive effect jumps every 10 levels (i.e. 10% at level 1, 26% at level 9, 37% at level 10, 55% at level 19, 67% at level 20, 85% at level 29, 100% at level 30).

• Sol Janus: Dawn: Summon endless cycles of the creation and destruction of Sol Erda. The constantly changing flow of Sol Erda attacks nearby enemies.
  When the number of Cycles summoned increases, the flow of Sol Erda activated by each one decreases. You can also summon the Cycles in the air. You cannot summon a Cycle that is too close or too far from a previously summoned Cycle.
  If a Cycle hits an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage.
  Level 30: 30% normal monster damage increase. [Max Level: 30]
  • Level 1: Consumes 10% max HP.
    Summon a Cycle for 60 seconds. You can summon up to 1.
    Cycle: Deals 400% damage 6 times on up to 10 enemies.
    Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Level 30: Consumes 10% max HP.
    Summon a Cycle for 120 seconds. You can summon up to 3.
    Cycle: Deals 690% damage 6 times on up to 10 enemies.
    Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Note: The number of Cycles increases at specific levels (i.e. 1 at level 1, 2 at level 10, and 3 at level 20).

• Sol Janus: Twilight: Automatically release inherent Sol Erda. The pure energy attracted by the released Sol Erda condenses into Primal Crystals that pour down on enemies.
  If the Primal Crystals hit an enemy using Damage Reflect, you will not take damage. Twilight’s reactivation cooldown is not affected by cooldown reduction effects.
  Level 30: 30% normal monster damage increase. [Max Level: 30]
  • Level 1: Consumes 1% max HP.
    When your attack hits an enemy, Sol Erda will be released automatically and create 9 Primal Crystals.
    Primal Crystal: Deals 600% damage 6 times.
    Reactivation cooldown: 3 seconds.
  • Level 30: Consumes 1% max HP.
    When your attack hits an enemy, Sol Erda will be released automatically and create 11 Primal Crystals.
    Primal Crystal: Deals 1035% damage 6 times.

Note: The number of Crystals increases every 15 levels (i.e. 9 at level 1, 10 at level 15, 11 at level 30).

Sol Janus: Dawn and Sol Janus: Twilight’s skill damage will be increased based on the following skills’ final damage boosts.

Here’s a chart for the cost to unlock and upgrade Common Cores. It is the most resource-intensive Hexa Core, requiring a total of 208 Sol Erda and 6268 Sol Erda Fragments (compared to 145/4400 for Skill Cores, 81/2252 for Mastery Cores, and 122/3383 for Enhancement Cores)!

Also the skill is supposed to be pronounced like “yeah-noos” according to the Korean name! It’s named after the god Janus, who had two faces, hence the two different forms of Sol Janus.

• Each Crystal can have 3 different types of stats from the following list. You can change the combination of stats to any combination of your choice through the [Stat Conversion] feature. Each stat can go up to level 10.

• Crystals can grow in rank by using Artifact AP. They can go up to level 5.

※ When using the AP Reset feature, it will consume 500 Artifact Points to reset the rank growth status of all Artifacts.

• The Artifact effect is applied by adding up all of the stat level boosts of all Crystals. However, each stat will only apply up to level 10.
• Each Crystal has its own stat duration applied. Crystals whose stat durations have expired will not be included in the Artifact effect. The stat duration can be extended to 30 days from the date you extend it, through the [Duration Extend] feature.

※ When extending the duration of 1 expired Crystal, it will consume 1000 Artifact Points.

※ Crystals whose stat durations have not expired yet can also be extended. In this case, the Artifact Points consumed will be reduced in proportion to the length of the extended duration.

※ However, when a Crystal is acquired through levelling up your Artifact, its stat duration will be set to 30 days from that point in time.

You can set the expiration of all Crystals to 30 days from the date you extend them all at once by using the [Bulk Extend] feature.

(This last part is not from the patch notes.)

If you’re confused (like I was at first), I’ll try to give a simple explanation for this system.

• Complete the missions to get Artifact EXP. This includes the Normal/Boss missions which reset weekly, and are very easy since you just need to defeat monsters and bosses, and also the Special missions, which reward you for completing a variety of different content within the game.
• As you get Artifact EXP, your Artifact Level will go up, unlocking more Crystals.
• As your Artifact Level goes up, you will also get AP. This is used to level up your Crystals.
• Each Crystal can have 3 different stats, and it will increase those stats by a certain level depending on what rank the Crystal is. (e.g. a Level 5 Crystal will increase the three stats on it by 5 levels.)
• You can think of each Crystal as a trio core from the V Matrix, and your stat levels will be added up from all of your unlocked Crystals. (e.g. as shown above, my level 2, 1, and 1 Crystals all had the same stats and so I got a total of level 4 all stats, HP/MP, and attack/magic attack.)
• Each Crystal has a 30 day duration. You can pay Artifact Points (from completing Normal/Boss missions) to extend them, up to 30 days. You do not lose the Crystal if you let the duration expire, you simply need to pay for the full 30 day extension again.
• Therefore, if you were to go directly to the end of this system, you would have a total of 9 Crystals at level 5. You could max out a total of 12 stats (4 x pair of level 5 Crystals for 3 different stats) and half boost 3 other stats (1 x level 5 Crystal for 3 different stats). Update: a smart commenter noted you can actually max out 13 stats and half boost 1 other stat if you are careful with the stat placements!
• You need a total of 9000 Artifact Points per month to keep all 9 Crystals active. If you look through the Normal/Boss missions, you can see its actually quite easy to get that much just by doing your weekly bosses.

The NPC Jack will no longer sell Monster Life Farm Reset Scrolls.

When the official server is updated, you can acquire Artifact EXP based on your existing Monster Life’s farm level and experience through the Maple Admin NPC.

• You can exchange 20 accumulated experience in Monster Life farms for 1 Artifact EXP.
• You can exchange experience in all worlds except for Burning and Reboot worlds.
• The exchanged Artifact EXP is applied to each world, and is not shared between worlds.

  • While the Artifact Booster is applied, the Artifact EXP given by Union Artifact’s Normal Missions will be increased by 100%.
  • After it is used, the benefits will end at the Normal Missions’ 4th weekly reset.

※ If you have Normal Missions that you already acquired the rewards from, you will receive the additional Artifact EXP upon using the Booster.

• Luna Illusion (expires in 7 days, 3900 Cash, can use 30% Mileage)

• Illusion Restore (expires in 7 days, 1500 Cash, can use 30% Mileage)
  • These items can be used to change or restore the appearance of your Luna Petite/Dream pets and pet equipment.

The Luna/Aurora Illusion items allow you to change the appearance of your Luna Petite/Dream pets/pet equipment to that of another pet/pet equipment. However, the pet/pet equipment that you use as the ‘Appearance’ will completely disappear after it is used with this item.

The Illusion Restore item allows you to revert your pet or pet equipment’s appearance back to its original form. You will not receive the pet/pet equipment that you used as the ‘Appearance’ back.

The 6th Luna Petite set: Petite Flora has been released, with Florian, Florence, and Petite Flora. If you collect all 3, you will receive the Floral Dream Chair.

The All Jobs Illustration Collection: Adventurers sale will run from December 21 to January 17.

You can purchase each package separately for 13.5k NX (which includes one outfit and an Adventurer Hair Coupon), or purchase the Legendary Adventurer Package for 99k NX (which includes 15 Selective Adventurer Package Vouchers and an Adventurer Title Voucher).

Presets

Equipment Presets have been added.

• An equipment preset feature has been added that lets you conveniently apply set equipment item configurations.
• 3 presets are provided at the bottom of the Equip window > Equip tab. You can use each preset by equipping your desired items to each one.
• You can click the ‘Apply’ button for a selected preset to apply the corresponding equipment configuration to your character. You can equip or unequip your desired items from the preset being applied.
• Items equipped in preset 1 will automatically be shared with the rest, until other items are equipped in the remaining presets. You can double click the shared items to switch them from unequipped/equipped mode.
• If you have an item that is required in every combination, you can equip it in preset 1 and it will be shared with the rest.
• The Medal Display and Title Display options that could previously be set in the Equip window have been changed to be set in the Options window’s Effects tab.

Ability Presets have been added.

• An Ability preset feature has been added that lets you conveniently apply set Abilities.
• 3 presets are provided. When switching presets, there is no cost.
• Abilities are not shared between presets, and each one will require resetting.
• Unused A Inner Ability Protect/B Ability Protect items will be removed during the December 21 maintenance, and you will be given Mileage based on the number of items in January 2024.

Character Presets have been added.

• A character preset feature has been added that lets you conveniently apply a set of presets.
• 5 character presets are provided. You can use each preset by setting the desired equipment preset, Hyper Stat preset, Ability preset, Union preset, and Link Skill preset.
• You can open the Character Preset window by using the Menu’s Character > Character Preset button or by using the Character Preset hotkey.
• You can change the name of your Character Presets.
• You can apply a desired preset by selecting it in the Character Preset window then clicking the ‘Apply’ button.
• You can also change to a specific Character Preset by pressing the Preset Change hotkey and the 1~5 number keys together.
• When you change Character Presets, the changing cost of each preset is applied.

Union Presets have been improved.

• All 5 presets will be provided by default. The durations have been changed to be permanent.
• If your Union Preset usage duration remains when the December 21 maintenance starts, you will be provided Union Coins based on the remaining duration.
• The Maple Union Coin Shop will no longer sell the Union Preset Coupon. Any items you already have will be refunded with Union Coins in the December 21 maintenance. When they are provided, you will be sent a message individually through Nexon Messages.

Bosses

The Boss Entry UI has been added.

• After the update, you can now enter boss content through the dedicated Boss Entry UI.
• When you select the desired difficulty through the Boss Entry UI and enter, you will enter that difficulty of the boss.
• If you are currently doing a Genesis Liberated Weapon mission, you can use the Entry UI for the corresponding stage’s boss to proceed with the mission.
• Certain story mode boss content can be entered through the Boss Entry UI.
• For weekly/monthly bosses that have Practice Mode, you can use Practice Mode through the Boss Entry UI.

A Practice Mode exclusive buff feature has been added.

• This feature allows you to apply buff effects in Practice Mode without consuming real buff effects, skills, or items, and without any restrictions.
• You can select the buff effects you can use without restrictions in Practice Mode through the Boss Entry UI’s Practice Mode settings page.
• The selected buff effects will be applied when you enter Practice Mode. All applied buff effects will be cancelled when you exit Practice Mode.

The daily entry limit for Balrog and all weekly/monthly bosses have been removed.

The required pre-requisite quest conditions to enter Suu and Demian have been removed. It has been changed so that you can enter Suu and Demian just by meeting the character level requirements, without having to complete the prequests.

Maple Auction

In the Maple Auction, you can now purchase items by double-clicking them. You can now use the Purchase/Preview/Search Price/Wishlist features through a right-click menu.

In the Maple Auction, a gender filter has been added to the detailed search so you can quickly search for Cash items that can only be used by a specific gender.

In the Maple Auction, the Bulk Purchase feature has been added that lets you purchase a selected item in bulk below a certain price.

• Only Consume/Etc/certain Cash items can be purchased in bulk.
• This feature can only be used on the following Cash items.

You can now use multiple Core Gemstones at once.

• If you have 2 or more Core Gemstones, you can use them all at once.
• Core Gemstones that have an expiry date or are untradable will be used first.
• You cannot use more than the remaining number of V Core storage slots.

Emoticons

The Emoticon system has been improved to make it more convenient to convey various messages in a wider variety of situations.

You can now use Emoticons in the following situations.

• You can check the Emoticon by clicking the name displayed in the chat window.

You can now use a command to load a list of your frequently used Emoticons in the chat window.

Union Artifact

The Union Artifact system, which was temporarily unavailable, has been changed so that it can be used.

• Crystals’ stats and ranks set before the maintenance will be reset.
• Artifact Points used before the maintenance will be returned.
• If you completed a Boss Mission with a higher reward rank while Union Artifact was disabled, you can refresh your Boss Mission status and receive Artifact Experience/Artifact Points by talking to the Maple Admin NPC in major towns.

※ You can refresh your Boss Mission status for monsters defeated after 12:00 AM on December 21, 2023, including before the maintenance.

※ The Boss Mission Synchronize feature through Maple Admin will be available until December 27, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

The Artifact Booster item’s sale and usage will resume.

• If you used the Artifact Booster while Union Artifact was disabled, you will receive the additional Artifact Experience that was not acquired when you used it.
• If you use an Artifact Booster before its usage has ended, the Artifact Booster application period will be extended by 7 days.

Improvements

The guide that appeared when the ‘Secret Dream: Bounty Hunters’ skill effects were applied has been changed to be more clear.

Improved an issue in Henesys, Nameless Town, and Cernium Square where there were occasional client delays.

The Adventurer Marksman Crossbow’s equipped image has been changed. This will apply to existing items as well.

The Party Recruitment Board’s Monster Park Extreme number of members has been changed to 4 people. Once they have all been recruited, the post will no longer be available to other players.

Fixed an issue in Monster Arcade Colourful Invitations where sometimes the results screen appeared awkwardly.

Fixed an issue in the Burning World Step Up mission description where the Ursus entry requirements were incorrect.

Fixed an issue where Sol Janus: Twilight did not activate when Lara was moving with Expression: Where the River Flows.

Fixed an issue where if Paladin equipped the Sealed Genesis Two-Handed Hammer or Sealed Genesis Hammer, they could not complete the [Genesis Weapon] Traces of the Lion King Von Leon/Priest of Time Arkarium/Tyrant Magnus missions.

Fixed an issue where Core Gemstones that could not be used were used when you used the Bulk Core Gemstone feature.

Ability Presets will now have a 3 minute cooldown when switching.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for not being able to identify various errors in advance when implementing presets and for not conducting a sufficient review.

We want to talk about the background of the preset-related error fixes that we made this time and what we are planning for future fixes.

First, for the newly added Ability presets, the intended experience was not for them to be used by changing them in real time for each combat situation. If we didn’t correct this quickly, many players would have changed their Ability settings. We wanted to state that this type of gameplay was not an official specification and make that clear by adding a cooldown, which is a stable and quick systematic solution.

This is a temporary measure, and we will make a future change that prevents Abilities from being changed in certain locations.

In addition, Union presets can now be changed through character presets, even in places where Union settings could not be changed in the past, but this is also not intended, and like Ability presets, we will make it so that they cannot be changed in certain locations.

Also, we will try our best to minimize misunderstandings among our players by improving things like error-prone management operation methods and button displays related to Ability resetting.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for not being able to prepare this update more thoroughly, and we will do our best to ensure that players enjoy the game more comfortably.

Hyper Burning

TheHyper Burningevent will run from December 21 to March 20. This event is available to all new characters created during the event period and existing characters level 200 to level 258 (Zero characters must have completed Chapter 2).

Infinite growth with 1+2 level ups until level 260 for 13 weeks! Meet the returning Hyper Burning with even more powerful benefits.

During the event,you can only create 1 Hyper Burning character per Maple ID. Whencreating a new character, you can designate it as a Hyper Burning character, oryou can designate an existing level 200~258 characteras a Hyper Burning character.

Hyper Burning characters willlevel up an additional 2 times every time they level up, from level 10 to level 260.

※ Characters who have more experience than the experience required to level up at their current level after the update can be designated as Hyper Burning characters after logging into the game and levelling up.

※ If Zero is designated as a Hyper Burning character at creation, they will not receive the 1+2 level up benefit from level 100~199.

※ If Zero is designated as a Hyper Burning character at creation, they cannot claim the event rewards until after completing Chapter 2.

※ For existing level 200~258 Zero characters, only characters that have completed Chapter 2 can be designated as a Hyper Burning character.

Tera Blink

TheTera Blink event will run from December 21 to March 20. This event is available to all level 10 or higher Hyper Burning characters (and Hyper Burning Zero characters that have completed story quest chapter 2) created after December 21.

Are you still unfamiliar with Maple World? Grow faster than anyone else to level 200 in the mysterious space prepared by Spiegelmann, and experience a variety of content through Spiegelmann’s Diary!

You can start the ‘[Tera Blink] The World in a Hat’ quest through the event icon or through Spiegelmann in ‘Henesys’ and ‘Nameless Town’. After completing the quest, you can go to the ‘Tera Blink: The World in a Hat’ map by talking to Spiegelmann.

※ You can only be inside the World in a Hat for up to 40 minutes at a time.

※ You can freely enter and exit the World in a Hat through Spiegelmann.

Tera Blink: The World In a Hat

In the World In a Hat, you can complete a total of 23 missions. When you clear each mission, you will receive a large amount of experience, and certain stages will provide items and rewards for the mission.

※ For certain jobs like Cadena, Ark, and Illium, if you have not completed the beginning tutorials, experience acquisition from certain missions will be restricted.

※ For certain jobs, you must complete the beginning tutorials to be able to move to ‘The World in a Hat’.

※ ‘Spiegelmann’s Ordinary necklace’ and ‘Spiegelmann’s Brilliant Necklace’ will be taken back if you leave the ‘World in a Hat’.

※ In Reboot World, the stage 11 mission ‘Equipment is the Source of Strength’ cannot be completed. The ‘Spiegelmann’s Ordinary Necklace’ will be given in the stage 12 mission ‘Do You Know About Equipment Imbued with Star Power?’.

※ All skills and buff effects provided through missions will be taken back if you leave the ‘World in a Hat’.

※ The taken skills and items will be provided again if you re-enter the ‘World in a Hat’.

※ If you delete your Hyper Burning character and recreate it, you can complete the ‘World in a Hat’ missions again. However, the ‘Spiegelmann’s Hat Chair’ will not be provided again.

※ The ‘Brilliant Hat’ pet and ‘Brilliant Hat’s Energy’ cannot be moved to the Cash Storage.

Tera Blink: Spiegelmann’s Diary

Characters who have completed all of the missions in ‘The World in a Hat’ can proceed with the ‘[Tera Blink] Spiegelmann’s Diary’ through the event icon or through Spiegelmann in ‘Henesys’ and ‘Nameless Town’.

※ You can only receive 1 stamp per day even if you claim the Daily Gift 2 times with the Premium PC Room benefit.

※ The ‘Enter Ursus 3 times’ mission and the ‘Claim a Daily Gift’ mission’s participation records will be shared per Maple ID.

※ To receive the stamps, you must participate in all of the missions (except for the ‘Enter Ursus 3 times’ and ‘Claim a Daily Gift’ missions) as a Hyper Burning character that is doing the Spiegelmann’s Diary event.

※ To receive the stamp for the ‘Complete Monster Park 2 times’ mission, you must participate 2 times in a single day.

※ You can only receive 1 stamp per day for the ‘Complete Monster Park 2 times’ mission.

※ All Spiegelmann’s Diary missions’ final completion rewards can only be received 1 time per Maple ID.

If you collect 35 or more Stamps from Spiegelmann’s Diary, you can receive the stamp mission reward.

Here’s my character doing the Tera Blink event! Taking away the time needed to do the job advancements (~6 minutes), it really did take only 20 minutes to go from level 10 to 200!

The missions were also really good, concise explanations of most of the important systems in the game. Starting off with setting up your pet correctly, to how Star Force maps work, the different kinds of Bounty Hunting portals (it even explained which ones are affected by experience multipliers, and how they disappear after 90 seconds), to the final quest that had you break the door to go out into the real world (which had high defense rate requiring you to ask Spiegelmann for a defense ignore buff to deal more damage to it).

• You cannot move from Reboot, Reboot 2, Burning, Burning 2, or Burning 3.
• You cannot move to Scania, Luna, Croa, Elysium, Reboot, Reboot 2, Burning, Burning 2, or Burning 3.
• You can only move to/from the first worlds you select as your departure/arrival worlds. You cannot change these choices afterwards.
• If you have no empty character slots in the world you are moving to, you will receive slots.
• There is no limit on the number of characters you can world leap. But if you already have 49 characters in a world, you cannot move to that world.

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Mischievous Protective Mask in ‘Lacheln in a Dream: Happy Dream’s Space’ to start the ‘[Dream Messenger] Jewel Box of Dreams’ quest andacquire the ‘Dream Messenger’ skill.

You can acquire‘Shining Points’ and ‘Secret Points’ every time you complete a Weekly Party in the Midnight Party.

• You will receive10 Shining Points/10 Secret Points from the 1st and 2nd time you complete the Weekly Party each week.
• For the 1st~9th weeks, you will receive20 Shining Points/15 Secret Points from the 3rd time you complete the Weekly Party each week.

[Lacheln in a Dream] Lacheln Winter Feast

TheLacheln Winter Feast event will run from December 21 to January 17. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

Lacheln Winter Feast! A great feast isn’t complete without delicious dishes! Help the Cute Plate prepare a winter feast and acquire experience!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Cute Plate in ‘Lacheln in a Dream: Happy Dream’s Space’ to start the ‘[Lacheln Winter Feast] Delicious Cooking’ quest.

After starting the quest, you will acquire acquire the‘Joyful Feast’skill. The ‘Joyful Feast’ skill will automatically be activated in maps with monsters within your level range.

As you defeat monsters within your level range, you will retrieve ‘Delicious Dishes’. If you defeat 300 monsters and retrieve them all, the ‘Joyful Feast’ skill will activate.

When ‘Joyful Feast’ starts, you willacquire a large amount of experience, and the Delicious Dishes prepared by the Cute Plate will appear and attack multiple enemies. This can activate up to 30 times per day.

※ The skill will be deactivated if you reach your daily 30 activations of ‘Joyful Feast’ per character.

※ You can deactivate the ‘Joyful Feast’ skill by right-clicking the skill icon in the skill window. If the skill is deactivated, it will remain deactivated until midnight or until you right-click the skill to activate it again. If you disconnect and reconnect, the deactivated skill will be reactivated.

※ ‘Joyful Feast’ will only activate in maps with monsters within your level range. It will not activate in maps where there is a level 4 Rune debuff or other special maps (Mirror World, story quest maps, etc.).

※ If you fill up the gauge on a map where ‘Joyful Feast’ has already been activated by another player, the activation will be delayed until the already activated ‘Joyful Feast’ is complete.

※ In instanced maps, ‘Joyful Feast’ will be activated instantly, regardless of whether or not other players have already activated the skill.

※ The ‘Joyful Feast’ skill will only be visible to yourself, and it is affected by experience increasing effects and the death penalty experience reduction effect.

[Lacheln in a Dream] Midnight Dream Catcher

The Midnight Dream Catcherevent will run from December 21 to January 17. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

A grand plan to fight off drowsiness for the Ragdoll that doesn’t want to fall asleep begins! Enter the Ragdoll’s dreams, defeat the monsters making the Ragdoll sleepy, and receive large amounts of experience!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Ragdoll in a Dream in <Lacheln in a Dream: Happy Dream’s Space> to start the ‘[Midnight Dream Catcher] Ragdoll That Doesn’t Want to Sleep’ quest.You can only enter <Midnight Dream Catcher> on characters between level 101 and level 260.

After entering <Midnight Dream Catcher>, all buffs will be removed and you will acquire the exclusive buff skill ‘Dream Breaker’.

• 400% experience acquired
• 50 attack/magic attack
• 30% normal monster damage
• 30% critical rate
• 30% critical damage
• 50 all stats
• 2500 HP/MP

You will have15 minutes to defeat 1000 ‘Strange Ballroom Dance Residents’ which change based on your character level to gain experience.

Every 200 monsters you defeat,a ‘Powerful Summon Doll’ monster will appear that gives more experience and a skill to help you defeat monsters.

If you leave <Midnight Dream Catcher> without defeating all 1000 monsters and there is still remaining time, you can re-enter to finish your session without consuming an additional entry limit.

※ In the ‘Midnight Dream Catcher’ map, you cannot use any consumable items except for recovery items.

※ If you defeat all 1000 ‘Strange Ballroom Dance Residents’ and all ‘Powerful Summon Dolls’, you will exit from the map regardless of the remaining time.

※ If the time limit runs out, you will exit from the map regardless of the number of remaining monsters.

※ If you reach level 260, you cannot re-enter if you leave partway through.

※ When exiting partway through, the play record will be recorded per character.

※ After midnight, all partway records will disappear.

※ Even if you reach level 260 inside <Midnight Dream Catcher>, you can still get experience by defeating the remaining monsters.

※ The ‘Powerful Summon Dolls’ will automatically disappear 20 seconds after being summoned. If they do so, you will not acquire the skill and experience benefits. However, if you leave the map before this time limit ends, the summon will remain when you re-enter the map.

You can only enter1 time per day per world on a single character, up to 3 times per week.

※ The weekly entry limit will reset every Thursday at midnight.

You can talk to the NPC Pink Bean in a Dream to participate in 3 competitive minigames that change each season by either Matching or Party Play.You can talk to the NPC Orange Mushroom in a Dream to participate in 3 record minigames that change each season.

• Matching can only be done if you are not in a party, and you will play the game with 3 other players who have applied for it.
• Maple One Card Party Play can be done in a party of 2~4 players.

By playing each minigame, you can acquire Dance Fragments and Collection Points based on the minigame you played. You can only acquire up to 500 Dance Fragments per day per world.

※ If you have acquired the daily limit of Dance Fragments, you can continue to participate in games and acquire Collection Points, but you will not acquire any more Dance Fragments.

※ Dance Fragments acquired by using Dance Fragment Vouchers are not included in the Monster Arcade daily Dance Fragment limit.

※ If you play as a party, it will not be included in the Monster Arcade Collection Points, and you will not receive Dance Fragments.

Maple One Card

When the game starts, each player is given 7 random cards. During our turn, you can choose to play a card with the same colour or type as the card placed in the centre. If you have no cards to play, you can draw a new card from the card pile.

By using magic cards and attack cards in addition to regular cards, you can inflict lots of damage to your opponents and avoid attacks. If you have more than 17 cards, you will lose.

You can win by being using your various cards strategically and being the first player to get rid of all of your cards. The remaining players will be ranked in order of the fewest cards in their hands. After the game ends, you will receive Dance Fragments based on your rank.

• 1st Place: 300 Dance Fragments
• 2nd Place: 200 Dance Fragments
• 3rd Place: 150 Dance Fragments
• 4th Place: 100 Dance Fragments

Colourful Invitations

When the game starts, party invitations are lined up and placed on the platform in order. You will have 1 minute 30 seconds to press the arrow key of the same colour as the invitation to send it out and bring up the next one. The special origami-shaped invitation will change into its proper form only when it is brought up to the platform.

Every time you send an invitation, the Fever Gauge will go up, and when it’s full, Fever Time will be activated. During Fever Time, you can quickly send invitations by repeatedly pressing the space bar.

You will acquire points every time you send an invitation. After thee game ends, you will receive 1 Dance Fragment per 800 points. You can acquire up to 100 Dance Fragments per play.

Monster Arcade Collection Rewards

If you complete various achievements for each minigame, you can receive the following rewards.

All rewards can be claimed until March 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM.

※ All rewards can be claimed 1 time per Maple ID.

※ All rewards will expire after 7 days, and can only be put into storage.

※ After January 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM, the Maple One Card and Colourful Invitations missions can no longer be completed.

※ When you use the Dance Fragment Collector Box, you will receive the Dance Fragment Collector medal and the Galaxy in a Marble Chair.

[Lacheln in a Dream] Gold Richie’s Treasure Hunt

The Gold Richie’s Treasure Huntevent will run from December 21 to January 17. This event is available to all characters level 101 or higher.

Defeat monsters and acquire Gold Richie’s VIP Boosters that grant you powerful experience benefits!

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Gold Richie in <Lacheln in a Dream: Happy Dream’s Space> to start the ‘[Gold Richie’s Treasure Hunt] Lost Treasure’ quest.

After completing the quest, while defeating monsters within your level range on a level 101 or higher character, there is a set chance to acquire VIP Boosters.

When you use a VIP Booster in a map with monsters within your level range, flame monsters that give a lot of experience will be summoned for 100 seconds.

In regular worlds, the VIP Boosters that drop from monsters can be traded 1 time. After they are traded, they can only be put into storage.

The VIP Boosters will only drop during the event, until January 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM. They can be used until January 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM.

VIP Boosters can only be used 10 times per day per character.

※VIP Boosters cannot be acquired on Zero characters that have not completed chapter 2.

You can use the event icon or talk to the NPC Rudi in ‘Henesys’, ‘Nameless Town’, or ‘Cernium Square’ to start the ‘[Snow Duck Maker] Rudi’s Request’ quest.

Help Rudi gather the required materials to make a Snow Duck Maker! When you collect all of them and complete the Snow Duck Maker, you’ll receive a gift from Rudi.
