A "large-scale" fan-made DLC effort

One mod that just keeps getting better is The Legend of Zelda: Second Wind - A Breath of the Wild Expansion. In case you haven't heard, it's a 'free large-scale DLC" mod adding in new quests, areas, weapons and bosses, and it overhauls existing content.
We got a look at the brand new Hinox King boss battle last week, and now Breath of the Wild modder Waikuteru is back with a video of the new Octo Boss - a large Octarock found in the revamped "Strock Lake" area within the game's overworld.
It also happens to be part of the 12 bosses tied to the 'Labours of the Hero' quest, where you'll be rewarded with an unbreakable Hylian Shield at the end of the quest. Here's a rundown of the quest from the project page:
"This quest is unlocked once Link leaves Hyrule Castle after obtaining the Hylian Shield. After being given the quest by Monk Ruya Nala, Link is tasked to travel near Champion's Gate, which is to the east of the Gerudo Desert in the Gerudo Highlands region. When Link reaches the location marked on the map, a shrine emerges from the ground. This is the Ruya Nala Shrine.
"Once Link enters the shrine and reaches the main chamber, the words "The Ancient Trials" appear, signalling to Link the nature of this shrine. After speaking to Monk Ruya Nala, Link is given the objective to defeat twelve bosses across Hyrule. Hints for the location for these bosses are given in the statues throughout the main chamber."

I normally don't hold fan-created mods in the highest regard considering I have very high standards and expectations for the developers to create something that truly makes sense for the game. However, Second Wind may be one of those few times where I think it could legitimately work as part of Breath of the Wild's universe.

Pretty uninspiring looking fight...but for a free update, it works. Just hope next Zelda adds proper unique bosses and dungeons

So when are NL gonna start supporting Emulating old games then? Or purchases carried through Nintendo generations?
